Default Finished Quilting the One I Damaged

This one was a lot of work ( and angst ) but I finished it today and I think my friend will be very happy.
It is such a bright and cheerful quilt.
Each "diamond" was boxed and filled with Pebbles . Some are more round than others. LOL
And it figures I photographed the one block with an un cut thread.

I do have one comment about these scrap quilts. I love the idea but if other quilters have run into the same problem it's worth mentioning. Please try to use the same weight fabric throughout. When quilting across different weights, the orientation and stretch can catch the quilter by surprise.
My quilting is all freehand, so when I happened across really "active " fabric I could compensate by changing direction. I don't know whether those with computerized machines ever have that problem.

I think Patches & Pinwheels is my favorite scrappy pattern! Love yours. I have one waiting to be quilted. Might have to 'borrow' you quilting idea!

It turned out great and I bet no one will even be able to find the seam!
