Burgoyne Surrounded is one of the quilts on my "list of quilts I want to make before I die". Your's is really lovely. And yes, I think a square quilt would do very nicely. I've noticed that most king-sized comforters are almost square anyway. If you were feeling wildly ambitious, and had some scraps left, you might consider a couple of pillow shams. They gave a nice finished look to the bed. Your work is exceptional. Congratulations.

I hope that is clear. Lots of people don't do the old fashioned turn down at the top and bring over the pillows. Many people like to display their pretty pillow cases, which would be perfect for this issue.

That is one amazing quilt and the will be SO BLESSED to get it as a gift from you. What a wonderful thing to do for them

Your quilt is gorgeous! We have a king bed and I usually make it square...104" being the smallest....the largest I have made is 120" and that has a generous pillow tuck and drapes well over the edges but it's on a tall bed so it works well. There isn't much pillow tuck with a smaller square. So 112" would be a good fit (IMHO)!!
