Finally finished son's quilt. This is the one I had to wait so long to get the fabric I ran out of. Remember I am still a newbie, and I have several flaws and I am still not that great at sewing straight yet. This is also the first big quilt I have quilted on the machine. The other was a small dog blanket. Anyway enough excuses.....lol. Here are the pics. The main thing is my son loves it.

Nice job Toni! I think you've mastered sewing straight! I'm impressed! What a fun quilt. It turned out so beautifully. You have to make more!

That's really a "winner." (Pink would have been a nice backing, something to talk about over the years  ) I'm sure it won't be out of his sight anytime soon!!

Toni - that is a GREAT first quilt. Who would think a black & white quilt could be so awesome?!!! It is very manly. Nice job.

I wouldn't know you couldn't sew straight by looking at your terrific quilt! And if you ever do learn, then you can teach me!

All that matters is your son loves it... They never see the flaws.... Great Job! My son loves everything I do.
