Finished These Two
#22
Both are very pretty quilts. I have some panels packed away that I need to get out & do something with. I never think about them until I see a post like yours. It is a shame to have them packed away when they can be made into a gorgeous little (or big) quilt. Thank you for reminding me. Also the log cabin quilt is so fun. Great job!

The foxes panel is bigger than a pillow panel. It was horizontal so I built it out a bit, top and bottom, to make it vertical for a lap throw.
The QAYG wasn't hard. You have to leave the outer 1.5" or so unquilted on the edges that will be joined. You can quilt them later if you want to... after joining.

I just quilted each big block, stopping about 1.5" from the edges to be joined. Then I seamed the front and batting to the next block, flipped it over and pressed under 1/4" on one of the back edges and topstitched it down. When I had my rows I joined the rows the same way. It's a bit messy and non-precise on the front where the topstitching is seen, but in such a busy quilt it doesn't matter.
