This is all hand marked, hand pieced. Not my fabrics, donated to me while in hospital.

Will be making another for someone very old, very dear.
If you can look close enough, you can see these are separate fabrics, close in color to each other...and each circle is a different color, with pastels and such in middle area, strong primary and secondary colors to outside edges.

This is the quilt my new son in law chose to be their wedding present as he sat by my side in the hospital, looking through quilt magazines as we visited.

My husband is working with the newly wed daughter for quilting design she wants in the plain areas. She has very specific taste as well. Plus she knows what these hands are capable of, and what her father, who has an art degree, can do.

I still need to baste the seam allowances in place so there will be no shadows or see through areas behind the white.

Plan is for this to become a fete accompli' by their 1st anniversary in August.

What a gorgeous quilt for an anniversary gift!! The couple will have an heirloom quilt for sure! I love the pastels!
