Default Finished two jelly roll quilts

One of the DDs' friends turned 21 and another got married. I gave both of them jelly roll race quilts. The first one was my first attemp for which I used random strips cut from the willing stash. The backing is made of 12" blocks so that the quilt is quite reversable. The other one is done in Paula's favourite colours - purple and turquise - and I cut the WOF strips in half to work with shorter strips. Both were squiggled, since that is the favourite and quickest way for me (on the DSM). There is a third top which will be finished in due time. My theme for the year is picnic quilts, so there is a lot of fun ahead of me.

Great scrappy quilts! I like the idea of using shorter strips for the jelly roll quilts. Love the purple and turquoise!
