These are for a charity auction to provide funds for cancer patients. They will be auctioned as a lot.

I use double knit fabrics. They are plentiful at the thrift stores and they don't make the runners too lumpy. I want them flat enough to hold a lit candle if that is what the recipient desires. I find the double knit gives a good weight and body.

Pretty runners for a good cause! That's a good idea to use double knit as a batting.
