    Default Finishing up quilt tops.

Here are a couple of quilt tops (and a back) that I have finished in the past couple of days.

The 24 quilt is for my husband. He designed it. I just had sew it together for him. Will be quilted with flames around the 24.

The red and black one is for a soldier who was in basic with my son.

Also my rebuilt ironing board. My husband rebuilt it for me to sturdy it up. Original design was fine when it sat on a table but started falling apart when I had to start moving it around

I love the red and black one. Would you be willing to share the name of the pattern?

Its called the "blooming nine patch" I just learned the name of it myself. I had saw a quilt online several years ago made using this pattern. I realized it was a solid block and 9 patch so I recreated in my quilt program to make this quilt.

Attached is a how I created mine with fabric requirements.
