congrats on your first quilt...there will be many more, right all? re: quilting....I remember being told by someone a loooong time ago not to leave any spaces when quilting that is larger than your outstretched hand, so that is kind of my mantra now......

I think your first quilt looks like a winner. I like everything about it, the pattern, colors, fabric, etc. I'm looking forward to seeing your future quilts.
