    Perfect practice makes beautiful quilting. Always try to do your best that way you'll get better faster. I make potholders. It probably takes more time to sandwich and finish than it does to quilt, but I have a finished product that's functional and pretty. I use them for gifts at Xmas time and birthdays for friends and family. The potholders usually go on a wall for display rather than as potholders. These are small projects and can be used to try new and different quilting techniques. Keep practicing; you're doing great.

    looking good! I can't seem to relax enough to do lovely large feathers myself. I'm too tense. someday!!

    Heck! I have just recently discovered a walking foot! FMQ hasn't even entered my world yet! I think you have given me the incentive to learn FMQ... thank you!!

    I think they look really good, and I fully agree that when you start getting tired, you start messing up. You need a lot more stretch breaks with FMQ, You are doing well, keep practicing. the bigger meander comes along all at once
