This was my first attempt at a quilt as an adult. I am really happy with how the top turned out. Corners meeting and such. I tried maching quilting for the first time and just stitched in the ditch. I did end up with a few minor puckers on the back but I'm happy with it for my first try.

ON a funny note I laid the quilt on the floor to take the picutre to share and in the moment it took me to turn and grab the camera my dog went and sat right in the middle of the quilt.

Love it! I'm really enjoying the direction baby blankets are going lately - not as much pale/pastel colours, more brights and vibrants! That's one lucky baby! And she will have so much to stimulate her senses!

LOL! That quilt is dog approved! Isn't it funny how pets do that? It's a beautiful quilt and you should be very proud. The quilting looks fantastic!

My "inspector" did approve. Anytime she gets a chew bone that may make a mess she has to stay on "her" blanket. I think she say me lay a blanket on the floor and went "I'm on the blanket where's my bone?"

The quilt is lovely. I love your story about your fur baby and the bone. So did she get her chew bone?

She did get a bone later as did my little foster dog who thought she should get into the act after I chased Lily off the quilt.
