Default First Christmas for 2014 give away to gramdkids

This past Christmas, I surprised 3 grandkids with a Christmas quilt. I just drew names and they were the lucky ones, but I did assure the other 4, that they would get their Christmas quilts in 2014. The first picture is the 3 lucky grands. The girl on the left is a sister to the boy, and the girl on the right is my youngest grand. She will be coming to spend a week with me this spring after school is out, and she will sew up her 13 year old quilt.

So now, since I have retired, I can really get to work on the remaining 4 quilts. So here is my first one. It is only the finished top. I will use white fleece on the back and red thread to quilt it with SID

Enjoy looking and wish me luck on getting the other 3 done.

Gorgeous quilts, all of them! And your grandkids are cute too! Looks like they loved their quilts.

All your quilts are beautiful. I am sure all your DGC can hardly wait to get theirs.

Beautiful quilts and wonderful job on them.
To get motivation to finish the other four, just imagine their disappointment. That should provide enough motivation.
