Smile First Christmas gift project: A braid table runner

My sister asked me if I could make a special gift for a neighbor friend that she met overseas and had been so helpful and friendly. She suggested something for Christmas since it is the neighbor's favorite holiday and she decks the halls so to speak, lol. Sister gave me an estimate of what she thinks her table measures and I went to work on this table runner. First time making this pattern, and it was fun and easy. Runner measures about 15x49. Mom is going to visit sis next month and I wanted to have this ready so she can take it with her. First Christmas gift; check hope she likes it.

I make these all the time -- am teaching a class next month at our LQS -- your fabric selection is right on, and it should be enjoyed by all. Like using the center fabric for the back and wrapping to the front to bind -- gives such a lovely finish. Ideal for the holiday season -- a great gift.
