Default First Custom Quilt Job

I should start out by saying that I got my long arm for Christmas this past year so I am still learning. I have done well with pantographs and wanted to venture out. A friend of mine gave me this night and day quilt to work on. My hubby bought me a ruler set for our anniversary (in exchange for car parts for his 64 Chevy truck - anyways I tried it all out and was very happy with how it turned out. I did use an idea that greenfairyquilts showed on her sight. She is magnificent and I enjoyed trying something out she taught. I hope you like it.

The quilt is beautiful and so is the quilting. I am glad that you are feeling adventurous enough to try this. Very nice.

Looks like you did a wonderful quilting job on your first venture! Keep it up and you'll have lots of quilts to quilt for people! Beautiful!

You are living my dream. You did such a good job. I really like those diamonds in the border with the little cury-q's. I have a Juki & frame, but dream of a long arm. Are there classes that you take (besides practicing on your own) or books to learn from? And I'm in awe of the Green Fairy, too.
