Default First finished project for 2013

This is a quilt I made for my cousin.

Two weeks ago he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I made this quilt using all patriotic fabrics. I wanted to remind him to keep fighting and to stay strong.

This was also my first attempt at stippling on the machine. I made some mistakes that I can see but I know my cousin won't notice.

    I hope he likes it.

Lovely quilt -- I love the way that pattern just fits most any fabric and makes them look special. Thanks for sharing.

A pretty quilt, and with all the patriotic fabrics, it will inspire him to keep fighting.
