    Default First look at Quilt

    So this is the first picture of my Rose Quilt I hope you like it, let me know if there is anything I can do different!

    I love the fabrics you have picked. So pretty. Looks like you are doing great. Let us see when it's finished as well.

    The rose fabrics have very delicate colouring. I wonder what it would look like if you alternated the 9 patch and plain block in each row so that the plain blocks do not form stripes. The fabric reminds me of spring.

    Well, I think you are off to a wonderful start. Remember to press, press, press. IMHO, the sashing should be more narrow and of a more delicate color. That will be one beautiful quilt when you are finished.

    Thank you so much for your comments. It is going to to be a lap quilt for my aunt since stays cold during the winter time I thought she would really like this to cover up with.
