Default Minion quilt as you go finished...

It's far from flawless and there was actually only room for one minion. But my son (2.5 years) loves it and wants to have it in his bed. I'd say that's a success!

I did a combination of both quilt as you go and quilting on a frame. My freehand quilting can still improve. But it's getting better every time I practice. Stippled like a maniac in the squares but it hardly shows up in the picture. Did it in a darker thread than the embroideries. The backside has a very cute fabric with the theme Noah's Ark.

I must have lost my marbles, who else would piece a 1/2" sashing? Feel a bit proud about my very own design anyway.

Cute love that you pieced the sashing and cut it on the diagonal, I'm sure your son is going to love this.

That turned out great! All of the characters are great, but I still love the minion best ... sigh!

You must have a Brother machine -- isn't that the only one that has Disney designs?

I love the 1/2 inch sashing, just a perfect proportion for the quilt. The quilt looks great.
