Default First Quilt... made for my sister

Ok so first of I'd like to say thank you to ranger and PatriceJ for helping me figure out the resizing of my giant photos! This is the first big quilt like blanket I have made. It was a gift for my sister on her college graduation. I hand embroidered her favorite characters from her mangas, animes, and videogames. I also put in her favorite movie and tv quotes. then just threw them all together! No special quilting just did some zig zag stitching along each seam. She loves it which is what makes me love it even more. Let's see if these pics work.

Very cool and really nice work. All the fancy complicated pattern quilts are beautiful but the ones I love best are ones like yours which was made from the heart. Cleverly including all the things that are meaningful to your sister, great job.

I agree this is a winner. Made me think of things I could put in one to share with my husband that only he and I would understand.

Oh wow! How wonderful and personal. You deserve kudos for making the first one for your sis. I bet she loves it! Who would blame her?
