    Default Palm tree quilt

    My daughter wanted a wall hanging to remind her of her happy place. I'm not an "art" quilter by any means! So this was a stretch for me. I used the facing technique for binding. Interesting method. It's not straight, but it will suffice!

    Beautiful, I am sure she will love it. I am not familiar with the facing technique for binding. I am going to check it out.

    Yes, I just looked at paintings of palm trees then just free hand drew them. But I am not an artist. So they are a little rough! Lol

    Well this doesn't look rough to me. I would say that you did a very smooth job. It's beautiful and your daughter should be pleased. BrendaK
