    Default First Scrappy

Thought I would share a picture of a quilt I recently finished for a dear friend. It was my first scrappy, first time trying flange, first for many reasons. I would appreciate any comments on my work! I'm pretty proud of it I must say!

Very nice. I like the way you used the black.

I like the block off set.....I have started a scrappy quilt for the car (for wintertime) and love the sashing idea you have done. So, your FIRST actually inspired me!

Is that Bonnie's Dancing Nine Patch pattern? It's a beauty. I've been having so much fun with scrappy quilts that I'm having a hard time working with my yardage. I've packed away all the scrappy projects so I can get back to several UFOs and cut into some of my gorgeous stash. But I'm realizing that will result in more scraps and more temptation. [sigh] What's a girl that on do?

Looks really great. From the offset blocks to the borders and corners...I wouldn't change one thing.

Great quilt! I like the dark against the colors. The back fabric is really nice.
