Yes that is a Shar-pei and can you believe she was "free to a good home". On top of being so very precious she has the sweetest little personality in the world. Every day I look at her in amazement that someone would not want this baby. Our vet said that she is a purebred but not show quality which is no big deal to me. She is a big girl now and I will try to post a more recent picture.

This is the ONE that I want to make! Lovely! Is there a pattern or name of this pattern. It would mean so much to me. If there isn't . . . would you please tell me the size of the squares and anything else that might be helpful to me?
My father passed away almost 3 months ago. I saved about 15 of this shirts, hoping I would find a great purpose for them. All he ever wore was BLUE!!
My dad was a Paratrooper in World War II and was very patriotic. He always had the flag flying somewhere . . . outside, inside the home. He ALWAYS teared up when he saw the flag.
I would love to make this one and present it to my 92 year old mom, his wife of 65 years.
I have made one small quilt in my lifetime and would LOVE to make this one in memorance.
Thanks for any input to get me going on this gorgeous quilt.
