No my juki is on a sewing table surrounded with two folding tables covered with oil clothe to make the quilts slide. I just finished a king size on it in Dec. Not hard to manover at all. Thanks for the comments. It reallly was fun to make.

Your quilt work is amazing!
Would you be able to post pictures of your set up with the sewing machine and tables? What is oil cloth, where did you get it, how did you cover the tables, do/can you remove the oil cloth, is each table covered separately? Just wondering, lots of questions.

I will get pictures for you next weekend. I just butted a 2' x 4' table in back of the sewing machine table and put the other table to the left of the sewing table and other table. It gives me a sqaure of about 6' x 6'. Oil clothe is just a fabric that people use as table clothes & cover some pieces of furniture. It is slick on one side and water proof. You will see it on cafe tables sometimes. I just layed it on top of the tables, cut out the spot for the sewing machine and folded it under the sides of the table and used duct tape to hold it in place. Makes it look like one big sewing table. To the right side of the table I put two storage carts side by side with a 2' x 2' cutting board on top to holp item I need while sewing and the drawers hold my special threads.
