Default First try at Lone Star Quilt

This wall hanging kept me sane this afternoon as I watched my favorite football team go to 4 overtimes before winning the ballgame! Anyway, this was a kit. I thought I was being very accurate in cutting and in keeping my seams 1/4", HOWEVER, I had problems. I thought I would try a bed size one, but am not at all sure after this experience.

It is a gorgeous quilt! After I completed my LoneStar I said I would never do another; but now after a couple years more experience...I think I will try doing another one.

It is wonderful. Eleanor Burns has a great book out to make these with. her directions are simple and easy. Just google Eleanor to get to her website. I think you will like her methods.
