I made many of these years ago and thought I'd pull out the pattern again and make a few more for some new quilting friends...thought you might like to see it ... the ribbon around it near the tail was just there to hold on a tag I had wanted to attach

Wow! That's adorable and I can see it used in so many ways besides a pin cushion...lots of them in a mobile, make them larger for poolside pillows, stuffed toys for toddlers (without the button), etc. Very cool!
