Default Flower Baskets

This quilt is made for my cousin using handkerchiefs which belonged to her mother (my aunt). My aunt has been clearing out her house and gave me the handkerchiefs. It is too long a story for here but I think my cousin will be both pleased and surprised to receive it. I have already made 2 butterfly quilts using handkerchiefs so wanted something different for this one. I didn't follow a pattern but I think it turned out ok.

Great use of old hankies. So different from the usual butterflies that are lovely also but I do like your baskets.

Isn't that lovely! Did you cut them in half or just fold them?

I think your hankie baskets are awesome I have 20 blocks done for the butterfly hankies...have never set them together. Should find it....finish it....and try your method....I personally think this is more attractive

It's beautiful. What a great idea for the handkerchieves. Your cousin will love it.
