That is so beautiful. I love those old patterns. I have a few from my DM's patterns and I do believe I have some of those. I sure am going to start looking for them.

I have those patterns and have always thought to embroider them in redwork. I love your quilt!

I had the same idea to do these in embroidery- never got around to it. When the class asked to do applique, I figured might as well use these patterns before I forget about them. Here are a couple more blocks
