Default FMQ challenge

My quilting buddy and I challenged each other to do free motion quilting 15 minutes a day, selecting patterns from this web site:
http://theinboxjaunt.com/quilt/free-...ing-tutorials/
She did them all on one piece of fabric, dividing it into squares. I did 24 approximately 12" squares, already sandwiched to be put together as quilt as you go. Hers came out really beautiful. I finally got mine together. I had used 12 primarily turquoise fabrics, and 12 pinkish, planning to make a boy and a girl baby quilt with them. I'm pleased with the results, and we both got some really good FMQ practice.

I found coloring book pages that I liked and marked the quilts with those designs.

Wow! The quilting really makes these beautiful quilts special. And this is such a special thing to do with a friend - you both benefit from the challenge.
