I really like your color combinations, as well as the variety of size and placement you used in the blocks.

Great example of a creative fold and sew. I taught this technique to a group of beginning quilters and they liked it a lot. We kept the frame and boxes uniform, but I like your varied approach better!

I don't know how to create a link, but if you search YouTube for fold and sew done by National Quilter Circle, you'll find it. There is no pattern, the technique called for full charm squares centered within the layer cake, but I improvised by cutting varying sizes of inner shape and varying the placement within the larger square. Have fun, it went really quick tho you do end up with double fabric in the center "squares" that part didn't bother me and the doubled layer wasn't difficult to quilt through.

It does look like a fun project... yours turned out wonderful. I also think it would be a great pattern to use a large print focus fabric for the blocks. I like how your squares and center pieces are of varying size ... thank you for posting.
