This is what I did this weekend. It was a lot of fun. I am going to make 2 more saddle bag purses. I put pockets on the inside. Hoping to have them done before the weekend. This is a first for me and I am loving every minute of it.

I fought the worst headache I've had in a year:-(
Then I had insomnia and was up all last night. That happens to me when I have a migraine. I'm gonna crash tonight.

Well, didn't get much quilting done, that's for sure! Sat night we got 1 1/2" snow!!! DH came running in to wake me up about 11:00 pm to come see! My son says in the 10 years he has lived here, he has never seen snow! This is Southern California, after all!! It was magical-I went out in my nightgown and robe and slippers and took photos all over the yard!! My son came home about 11:30 and took the dogs out to throw snowballs at!! Called my DS in Vanuatu to show her, too. Got to bed about 2:00 and couldn't sleep! Snow was still there in the AM. Sun was DH's birthday, so we just "hung out". Today I HAVE to work on Uncle Bob's quilt!!

I did something other than quilt this weekend...I made soap. 9 bars of soap. It was alot of fun & I'm gonna make more soap, with different fragrances and essential oils. They should make nice gifts.

I took care of my granddaughter, made pita bread for my daughter and egg bread for aandwiches. Picked up pretty purple fabrics for a floral quilt for me (if I ever get to it) and border fabric for granddaughter's doll quilt. I do so love fabric!

went to Mountak Point to look for seals, none were there this time, not quilting for the moment. Have to finished quilts but I am procrastinating and deciding if and how I should quilt them on my sewing Singer.
Would like to start on a new quilt but not sure for whom at this moment
my cousin wants me to make her table mats for the summer, not sure how
