Default Fon's and Porter Striped Star quilt top

I just got the top done, finally. I must do some other things before I can quilt it. I had lots of striped fat qtrs and used those up doing this. Why oh why I had to make this, I don't know.

Love your stripped quilt! The orange really pops the stripes.

I love it, would make a great donation quilt if you don't like it when finished.

The only hint in this one is to sew it together in angled rows. sort of like on point settings. that way, no Y seams. I didn't figure that out until I'd done the first full row of stars. hated doing Y seams on those orange diamonds. I did better as i went along.

Great use of your striped FQ's! Your quilt is beautiful and I hope you post it again after it's quilted...to me that is when a quilt just comes alive!
