Sheep Farmer

I took my very first applique class and really enjoyed it. The instructor was Susan McCombs; a very good teacher and very thorough. This was a starch method applique class. Susan designed several applique blocks, and we worked on one of the blocks in class. I found some fabric that matched the design of the applique and used that in the border. I quilted this wall hanging on my sewing machine.

I think I see more applique in my future.
