    Default French Twist Throw

This is a 76" square throw I just completed. The colors are navy, red, and gold. Sorry I can't offer you a pattern; I made this from a magazine and I'm not sure if you could find the exact same one. But it was titled a French Twist. I was nervous about the outside blocks fitting once all the inside squares and counterpoint squares were finished, but it matched quite well, so the pattern maker knew what they were doing. I had fun quilting this freehand on my Bernina 440 with the BSR. I did lots of stippling on the white and feathers on the twist and the center blue blocks, and easier, larger patterns elsewhere. I matched the threads pretty closely to the materials because I didn't want to detract from the color combination and the richness of the contrast. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful!!! I love the polka dots. It has a vintage, as well as a modern look. Nicely none!!

It is stunning. Your fabric choices really make the pattern stand out well.
