I went to see a friend today and as I was leaving she said wait a minute, I have something for you. It was her first machine but hasn't used it in many years. Also gave me 3 packages of new Singer needles. It's a 1955, 99 model.

It needs some cleaning and airing out, very musty smelling, but I honestly don't think she used it much even then.

What a wonderful friend you have. You must also be a wonderful friend---takes one to be one. I would have gotten a tingly nose and tears in the eyes. Congrats!
