Default friendship knot quilt finished.......

Back in December, I posted this quilt looking for the name of this pattern since I'd never seen anything like it before....Leave it to the smartest folks around - I was told the name of this pattern is Friendship Knot. I figure that the quilt top is from the 1930s from the print. I finished this for a friend of my mom's. I also had to find a binding fabric. The 1980s dusty rose sheet on the back absolutely did not work! LOL!!

Thanks for looking!! And the quilt inspector on this quilt is LadyGrace

Very nicely done (even the dusty rose backing). LadyGrace obviously approves....she wouldn't just lie on any old thing you know

The mother and daughter started the quilting and I finished it - Dusty rose isn't necessarily what I would have chosen, but it is what it is. The batting is an old flannel blanket, it's heavier than flannel sheets today.

Beautiful quilt, I love the rose color!
P.S. Is LadyGrace a Maine Coon? :-)

Very pretty! When I first saw it the picture I thought it was Whig's Defeat. It's similar to it.

That is absolutely beautiful. I am so happy for you that you had a hand in finishing it.
