    i had to look up Whig's Defeat quilt pattern since I had never heard of that pattern either - You're right, it is very similar! And wow - Whig's Defeat is a very old pattern!!

    I love this pattern. I cannot figure out the square, will study it more. It is very pretty and you did a great job.

    Beautiful quilt, how very sweet of you to finish it for your friend. The binding looks perfect! And you have an even more beautiful Lady Grace! I had a precious purr baby for 18 years that looked so much like her
