Fun Child's quilt, Won third at the county fair
I had fun making this quilt for my great niece. The four 'paper dolls' are me and my three sisters. The different one is the grandma of Adeline.
I told the rest of my nieces and nephews that the previous kids, (especially Adeline) had used up almost all of the available letters and the next baby should be named a three or two letter name. A boy named Leo arrived shortly thereafter. It'll probably take another year to get his quilt done.
I was surprised this won at the county fair. It was the first time I entered a quilt and I don't bury the threads and all the stuff you are supposed to do. It was just a fun entry with my friend who entered her paintings. We had fun looking at our work displayed.
The animals are from Don't Look Now Alphabet quilt except for the E. These darn kids who have two of the same letter in their name.
Sorry I previewed this and couldn't figure out why the picture was rotated or how to orient it correctly.
