I have been playing with Handiquilter rulers on my Sweet 16 - same principles I imagine. Thanks for posting your lovely work, I need to check out the Westalee rulers!

Kathy,
These rulers are not quite as thick as regular longarm rulers like you would use on the Sweet 16, but they do come in 2 thicknesses, one for low shank domestics and a thicker one, I think about 3/16ths, for high shank domestics. I have an older HQ 16 that spends most of its time collecting dust, but I should really test out these rulers on it to see if they work with the hopping foot.

I am so impressed with your projects - like Wowsers!! Guess I'll have to look into the rulers thing, if your results are any indication of what you can come up with!

You have inspired me with your beautiful work. I have been thinking of purchasing some rulers for awhile and just placed an order. Thank you for showing us what can be done with them.

You have mastered the rulers wonderfully. I just fm clam shells and they are all different sizes. I love how pretty your clam shells look. Was there a big learning curve and how long have you used these rulers. You are excellent. Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for the info Wendy! HQ cautions to only use rulers that are 1/4 inch thick so it could be a problem. Let us know if you try them on the longarm.
