(That was the newspaper headline.) I made this quilt during the 35-3 run of the Wildcats!! I am sad both are finished! Backed with a fleece remnant.

Good job--our Wildcats lost also. Boo Hoo. While we struggled through the last game, I made buttonholes down the back of a prom dress my daughter had gotten at a thrift shop. It was a l980's dress and supposedly a size l4--but certainly not a 14 by today's standards. When she tried it on, the back lacked 6 inches of meeting so she decided to do buttonholes and lace it up. I did sorta' goof up--I had nylon thread in the bobbin so the buttonholes are a bit scratchy. She thought she could manage for one evening. She is attending a "2nd chance Prom"--just a fun night.

Moreland,
please no talk about Prom dresses. I turned one girl down already this weekend & did four last year & several year before doing alterations. Last year was my DGDs Jr Prom & she drove me nuts changing her mind. I said no more this year.

The kids don't understand we can't always work miracles, do they. Sorry your team lost. Hope your dau enjoys this 2nd dance.

TTUL.

My daughter is in her 30's so perhaps more accepting of things than teenagers are.
