I guess I can say I'm ahead of schedule. The last quilt I did for our other GD didn't get started until she turned 2. I was a bad nana and actually forgot I didn't get her's made. The DS & DIL didn't make up their mind as to what the room was going to be done in and after several attempts I gave up...until she got PG again. That's when it clicked with me I never did do the quilt... Bad Nana, Bad Bad.

So I did hers and figured I better get started on #3's.

Well, Kelcey is 2 weeks old and I have her quilt finished! Had help from the board deciding on the boarder fabric but her Momma had the final say.

This is the most quilting I have ever done on a project. Pretty basic in comparison to some of the outstanding projects I've seen on here, but I can say I'm pretty proud of it. Best of all , it was made with love and I can't do anything better than love. :)

It looks wonderful and you should be really proud of yourself! Think of all the time you have now to just enjoy her and make other things!

I can see you put a lot of love in that quilt. Congratulations on your new granddaughter!

Thanks...it looks a little wonky but it had been folded up when I asked the DH to hold it up for me to take a picture. Didn't take the time to smooth it out since he was nice enough to hold it for me.
