    I made this for my Sister's b-day next month. It's a crib size quilt, no she isn't expecting. But I decided to do my practicing on smaller quilts until I get the hang of quilt making. This one was a real learning project. I cut all those little bitty squares out then sewed them up. Only after I realized I could have cut strips.

    Don't feel bad last nght I sat and cut out the squares for the downey frabic kids quilt, then this morning i said "why didn't I strip cut those? DUH

    Don't we all have at least one project that we could have done strip piecing but didn't think of it until we were finished? LOL

    Quilted quilts are gorgeous but there's just something about a tied quilt that says, "Hey, look at me, I'm warm and fuzzy and love to cuddle."

    Your sister is gonna love this. She will put it over her shoulders and never let it go. Great job. Love the funky ties you did.
