I have done fusible but also done a very close zig zag (at loss for what you call it) around the edges then quilted

I have a fusible pattern for a poppy quilt that I haven't tried yet..will be interested to see what you think of the process...

The picture looks good. Please keep us in the loop as you progress on your quilt. I started a NYB 5 years ago, and I only finished 1 block LOL. I wonder if I'll ever go back to it?

My sewing companion/friend/mentor is addicted to this method and is doing a Dear Jane fusing along happily. If it works for you, go for it!!!!

SandScraps, Thanks I never thought about doing a Dear Jane with this method. I have always thought it would take me way to long to do a DJ. Now I have something else to think about trying. Thanks
