Love, love, love these pics! Darling lil helper you have, great quilt, too! My lil granddaughter loves to help me, too...and when my Nanny (grandma) and Mom told me that being a grandma was amazing, they were so very right.

How blessed you were - helping your granny. I was an Air Force brat, traveling all over so never got to spend much time with my grandmother on my father's side and my mother's mother died before I was ever born. I hope to make a lot of memories with all 5 of my grandchildren.

The pattern is called "Falling Diamonds"; found it as a table runner in the Spring 2013 issue of Modern Quilts Unlimited. I'm cutting and sewing enough diamonds to make it a twin size quilt. I did find that my pieces went together much easier if I cut them 3 inches by 8 3/4 inch instead of 3 by 8 1/2.

Cutie. We need future quilters. I have been working with my granddaughter and she love it . She is eleven. I just bought her a sewing machine. She says when she gets grown she is going to have a sewing room like mine.
