I wouldn't have left her behind either! There is a lot of info on the web about featherweights. Just google it. Enjoy! I just love mine.

She is beautiful! She isn't from 1926 though. Featherweights were first introduced in 1933 at the Worlds Fair. She has a numbered tension dial and the bobbin tension is on the top of the bed which leads me to believe she was born after 1934. She is a real beauty for her age!

You'll find one. What you can do is get something that belongs to a Featherweight, a bobbin, a foot or anything featherweight related to use as "Bait". It might take a few months, but one will find you!

What a little dandy. Can't wait to get one of those. Well, no, actually, I've been waiting lots of years now. Just haven't found my treasure yet. I know she's out there somewhere just waiting for me too. Hope you got a garage sale price.

She's a beauty! If you go to the Singer website
http://www.singerco.com/support/serial_numbers.html
or call 1-800-4-SINGER with the serial number of the machine, you can find out the exact date she was 'born'
