Very Historical looking, what a lot of work but it turned out beautifully! Maybe, your ex is just proud of your hard work. He could have dropped his end after he was moved to the back! The backing and your quilting are lovely too.

The quilt is lovely. I really like the quilting. Taking nothing away from Charismah I know that there are other talented LA'ers out there. I think she did a super job of quilting. BrendaK

I'm making the General's Wife quilt as a block of the month. I have three more months and I will be able to put it together. I just love the material for this quilt. I have made other civil war quilts but this is my favorite. Hope my quilt looks as good as yours. I bought the extra kit to make it a king size.

Your quilt is just beautiful. When I have made "special" quilts, I have sent them to the LAer. Quilts that I have made for my grandkids, I have quilted on my machine. And a couple that I made for myself also. And my ex would be the last one on my list also.
