Gerald has found a new home
I made this a little while back for a friend's little girl who had to share a room with her brother, so nothing too girly. Had just completed it when she said she didn't want it anymore as her circumstances had changed, the little girl had her own room and was desperate for something pink and very girly. Was going to put it down to experience but when I showed it to another friend she said she wanted it because her little grandson loves animals. There was something about the quilt I wasn't happy with so today hauled it out and concluded it was the binding that was wrong. Have redone it in the safari print and now quite happy with the results. So little Tyler is going to find Gerald tucked up in his Christmas stocking. The pic is a bit dark. It's quite a gloomy kind of day here in Aberdeen.

Gerald looks great! Quilt is superb! Was getting ready to send off a tied quilt at the end of the week (so there would be someone home). They decided they would like it machine quilted. Ugh!!!!

That's such a shame. I was a bit tempted to say you can't! It's to late! But didn't have the heart as I knew the change had come about because of a bereavement and would've felt bad saying no. (tessagin)
