Default Val Val's first quilt top

Val is my adopted DGD. She calls me Grandma Cupcake. She came over one day and said "I'm here to learn to sew." This is the result. Val just turned 8 on July 8th.

Grandma Cupcake welcome from Northern California. I love her name for you. You must be really sweet. She is a doll. The quilt is great. She did a super job. Thanks for helping her. Sounds like you have a special relationship. Nothing better than helping the young one to learn new things. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK
