Love your block. I keep telling myself, one of these days I will actually make a PP quilt and not just a practice block now and then.

It's funny, because I posted this on my facebook page and one of my friends wants me to make her niece a quilt with this block and THESE COLOURS LOL ... I told her it was just a practice block with left over fabric and her response was - all the better ... can it be done in time for her graduation in May?

So, my idea of a practice block is someone else's idea of fabulous!!!! She'll be getting a 16-block quilt which will measure out to 48x48 ... but we might put some black sashing between the blocks and the a black border ...

Gotta get PPing LOL

Your pattern is beautiful and I, too, love the colors. May I ask what pattern is it?

Wow I guess so! A whole new world of quilting has just opened up for you. I love to PP too. Is this block a free pattern you found somewhere on line? If so could you post a link or share the source of the pattern.

It's called Lone Starburst Paper Piecing and I got it from Craftsy. It was only $4.99 or something like that.

I like it because it's numbered! Some of the patterns I downloaded don't have numbers on them and the instructions are not very clear. I have figured two of them out by trial and error!

I have three blocks done now:

Very pretty star block. Like the old saying goes, practice makes perfect.
