I made these for friends. The first was for my girlfriend in Vermont. She wanted just PLAIN squares.

The 2nd was for my girlfriend in London. I called it Teddy Bear Milky Way.

I've also done full size quilts, but can't find the pix. Will post those later.

I really like both of them. The colors are great. Friendship stars are one of my favorites. Are the bears embroidered or fussy cut or ???????? GREAT quilts.

Thanks. The 9 center bears are preprinted blocks. I didn't want to fussy cut them

Those are beautiful! I especially love the 2nd quilt, but of course, I love patchwork and pieced quilts. They are both gorgeous. Great work.

Those are lovely, especially like the squares quilt, they way you have sprinkled the colour through it gives it plenty of interest and a cheerful scrappy look.

I love the layout of the bear quilt - really exciting. Was it your design?
And, of course, there is nothing like a pretty scrap quilt.

Thanks for sharing with us mamapeach. They're both wonderful. I love the bears, but there's something to be said about an old-timey four-patch. I love scrappy quilts like that. They take us back to our quilting roots. :) You did a beautiful job. :)

I like them both, but especially the Just Plain Squares. I do a monthly 5" charm swap with a quilting group and I am always looking for ways to use those charms. This is great!
