A lovely lady named Valery went WAY beyond what anyone would reasonably expect on her job. DH and I appreciate her, so we decided I would make her a wall hanging. DH dropped it off on a Friday when I was not up to traveling. When she came back on on Monday, her boss had gotten fancy curtain hardware cords and big tassels to set it off then hung it over her desk, because HE wanted everyone to know how much she is appreciated.

After we gave it, we heard that her mom is a LAer and was also impressed, which is kinda neat too.
My bro's father in law said the most important thing he learned at West Point was, "If you have the right to complain, you have the duty to praise." I think it is important to let people know you appreciate when they go the extra mile. We tip well and praise often. It feels good.
