My daughter is expecting a baby in June. She loves giraffes, so I went overboard in creating lots of giraffe stuff.
    1) a preprinted flannel panel. I made a border to make it bigger, and hand quilted around the giraffe in the center.

2)I added even more brightness to these bright jungle animals. I hand quilted it all

(stay tuned, more to come. . .)

    1) the back is with the new rage to have a pieced back. It was a bugger to get it all matched up, but turned out good.

    2) Prairie point edging. If the baby gets bored with the bright colors, she can examine the edges!

    3) The white is 36", and back the full 42", made with the self binding blanket instructions. (do a search to find it here.)

1)Crocheted flannel. Mother did 1 1/2 of the sides before she passed away in Feb. So I tried to match her crocheting to finish it.

    2) fleece. One blankie I crocheted an edge, using the rotary edge cutter to make the little holes.

Then I couldn't waste the edge scraps, so I made a patchwork fleece to match.

These are great. One is just not enough when you have a baby. One will always be available while all the others are in the wash.
